The Invest Nova Scotia Accelerate 2025 programme supports early-stage startups that are close to being investment-ready. The programme is fully virtual and focuses on building capacity across critical business areas while helping founders achieve clearly defined growth milestones. It is run by Invest Nova Scotia, a government-backed agency dedicated to innovation and economic development in the province.

What You’ll Get

  • CAD 40,000 in non-dilutive, non-repayable milestone-based funding
  • Tailored 1:1 sessions with expert advisors

Who Can Apply?

Startups must meet the following criteria to be eligible:

  • Location: Incorporated and headquartered in Nova Scotia with most of the team based in the province
  • Ownership: Founders must own at least 51% equity and be working full-time on the startup (exceptions may apply)
  • Funding stage: Startups must have received less than CAD 250,000 in equity or convertible investment
  • Revenue: Cumulative revenue must be less than CAD 1 million
  • Stage of development: Applicants must have a market-validated product with an MVP or a working proof of concept
