About the AIAS-AUFF Fellowship 2025–2026

The AIAS-AUFF Fellowship 2025–2026 is designed for junior researchers who hold a PhD and have between 2–10 years of research experience after their doctorate. The fellowship fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and supports scholars in conducting cutting-edge projects that engage with research environments at Aarhus University.

Fellowship Duration and Number of Awards

  • Duration: 23 months
  • Start Date: 1 September 2026
  • Available Positions: Up to 10 fellowships will be awarded in this call

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Academic Qualification: PhD + 2–10 years of postdoctoral research experience.
  • Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
  • Mobility Requirement: Candidates must not have resided or worked in Denmark for more than 12 months within the two years prior to the application deadline.
  • Interdisciplinarity: Proposals should demonstrate interdisciplinary research ambitions and/or collaboration plans with Aarhus University.
