About the Accelerate Her Future Fellowship 2026

The programme delivers a thoughtfully curated blend of mentorship, learning, professional development, and community-building. Fellows gain access to interactive training environments, small mentorship groups, and peer support circles that foster practical career readiness and personal empowerment. The focus is on building social capital, strengthening soft skills, increasing visibility, and creating opportunities for long-term success in business and STEM fields.

Key Components of the Programme

1. Career Readiness Bootcamp

A dynamic virtual weekend bootcamp opens the programme, featuring industry speakers, coaching circles, and speed networking sessions. Fellows gain insights into navigating professional spaces, refining communication skills, and presenting confidently.

Four themed learning labs deepen participants’ understanding of workplace challenges and opportunities. Past topics have included overcoming imposter syndrome, personal storytelling, building a professional brand, career design, and authentic networking.

3. Mentorship Circles

Fellows join small mentorship groups composed of 1–2 experienced mentors and peers. These circles meet four times during the fellowship and focus on honest career conversations, goal-setting, and navigating personal and professional challenges.

4. Wellness and Self-Care Support

Dedicated wellness sessions address the lived experiences of Indigenous, Black, and racialised women. These sessions support mental resilience, emotional well-being, and culturally informed self-care practices.

5. Community and Networking

Participants gain access to a private Slack community for continued engagement, collaboration, and peer support. Fellows also receive advance invitations and discounts for future Accelerate Her Future events, extending the network long after the 10-week programme ends.
