Deadline: October 18, 2025

The WBCSD/GRP Climate Resilience Awards for Business 2025 is now open for applications. Organised by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in partnership with the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP), the awards recognise outstanding businesses worldwide that are driving climate resilience through innovation, collaboration, and impact.

Aligned with the agenda around COP30 in Belém, the awards highlight how companies can lead in building climate-resilient operations, supply chains, and communities.

Award Categories

The WBCSD/GRP Climate Resilience Awards for Business 2025 features three main categories:

1. Strategic Leadership in Resilience

This category honours businesses that have:

  • Integrated climate resilience into their overall operations.
  • Trialled innovative resilience solutions such as technologies, methodologies, or financing tools.
  • Taken significant steps to address resilience in their value chains (risk identification, measurement, and planning).

2. Partnerships and Collaboration

This award recognises partnerships — especially public-private collaborations — that:

  • Successfully engage national or regional authorities in planning or implementing adaptation strategies.
  • Strengthen resilience capabilities across stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate effective coordination and multi-stakeholder engagement.

3. SME Award

Dedicated to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), this category mirrors either of the two above, giving smaller businesses the chance to showcase their resilience strategies and innovations.
