The BIC Africa Online Training Programme 2026 for Tanzanian Women Entrepreneurs will select approximately 20 women entrepreneurs from Tanzania to participate in a structured online training programme.

The programme is designed to support women who are already running businesses and want to strengthen their business models, expand their markets, and improve their ability to attract investment.

Participants will engage in interactive sessions, practical learning modules, and coaching activities focused on helping entrepreneurs refine their business strategies and leadership capabilities.


Programme Duration

The online programme will run for two weeks, from:

23 March – 2 April 2026

During this period, participants will attend six interactive online sessions facilitated by entrepreneurship experts.

All sessions will take place online from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (EAT).

Programme Structure

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, applicants may be considered more competitive if they meet the following criteria:

  • The business has been officially registered for at least one year
  • The company has an operational team supporting its activities
  • The business demonstrates strong potential for scalability and growth

Selection Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on the following factors:

1. Business Description and Model

Assessors will evaluate the clarity of the business model, the quality of the business description, and the level of online visibility.

2. Innovation, Impact, and Scalability

Applications will be assessed based on how innovative the business is, its potential impact, and its ability to scale.

3. Motivation to Participate

Applicants must clearly demonstrate their motivation to participate and how the training will benefit their business.

Each category is scored out of 10 points, giving a maximum possible score of 30 points.

Applicants must achieve a minimum score of 21 out of 30 to be considered for selection.
