About the NIPIJ Programme

The Network of Investigative and Public Interest Journalists (NIPIJ) is a regional platform designed to bring together dedicated journalists who focus on investigative and public interest reporting. Implemented by the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) with support from DW Akademie, the programme seeks to strengthen investigative journalism practices and foster mutual support among journalists working to expose critical issues and drive change in society.

Through the NIPIJ Programme, MFWA intends to create a professional community that encourages ethical and impactful journalism, promotes cross-border collaboration, and enhances the quality of investigative reporting in the West African sub-region.
