About the ChangemakerXchange MENA Programme 2026

The ChangemakerXchange MENA Programme 2026 is a year-long regional fellowship that aims to nurture collaboration among young changemakers from MENA countries. Through curated learning experiences, community engagement, and an immersive in-person summit, participants will gain valuable insights and resources to expand the reach and effectiveness of their initiatives.

The programme is part of a global movement that has already connected over 1,500 changemakers from more than 130 countries. It continues to serve as a bridge for emerging leaders to share knowledge, co-create solutions, and amplify their collective voice.

  • Application Deadline: 29 March 2026
  • Programme Duration: May 2026 – May 2027
  • In-Person Summit: Late September 2026 (to be held in Morocco)

Throughout the year, selected changemakers will engage in online learning sessions, peer exchanges, and community events, culminating in the highly anticipated five-day summit in Morocco.


Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the ChangemakerXchange MENA Programme 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be aged 18 to 35 years old.
  • Live in, or lead initiatives that create impact in, one of the following countries: Egypt, Germany (projects must impact Eastern Germany), Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Switzerland, or Tunisia.
  • Hold a key leadership position such as founder, co-founder, manager, or co-leader in an active social or environmental venture that demonstrates measurable impact or strong potential.
  • Have a good command of the English language, as the entire programme will be conducted in English.

Applicants should demonstrate a genuine commitment to positive social or environmental change and a collaborative mindset, as teamwork and co-creation are at the heart of the ChangemakerXchange experience.
