About the Leventis Foundation Nigeria Agricultural Training Programme 2026

Established in 1987, the Leventis Foundation Nigeria has trained thousands of youths and farmers in modern, sustainable agricultural practices. The programme is delivered through residential agricultural training schools located in different agro-ecological zones across Nigeria.

This intensive programme is aimed at creating self-reliant agripreneurs who can contribute meaningfully to food security, employment creation, and economic development in Nigeria.

Training will take place at Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training Schools located in:

  • Federal Capital Territory (Abuja)
  • Osun State
  • Kano State
  • Gombe State

Applicants may be assigned to any of the centres based on selection outcomes.


Application Process and Selection

Applicants are required to apply online or in person. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a screening examination and interview scheduled for 28 February 2026.

Documents Required for Screening

Candidates must present the following at the screening venue:

  • A handwritten application letter
  • Letter of attestation (from a Local Government authority or Justice of the Peace)
  • Two recent passport photographs
  • Three reference letters
  • Copies of academic or educational certificates

Failure to present these documents may result in disqualification.
