Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Scholarships to Attend 26th International AIDS Conference 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old by 26 July 2026.
  • Be currently studying, volunteering, or working in the area of HIV.

Priority will be given to applicants who meet one or more of the following conditions:

  • Abstract presenters, workshop facilitators, or Global Village organizers whose submissions have been selected.
  • Individuals from low- and middle-income countries.
  • People living with HIV or those who are part of key populations.
  • Young people and early-career investigators under the age of 35.
  • Applicants who have not previously received a scholarship for an International AIDS Conference.

Scholarship Benefits

Successful applicants will receive full or partial support depending on their mode of participation.

For In-Person Attendance

  • Conference registration (includes both in-person and virtual access).
  • Travel support, covering an economy return ticket from the nearest international airport for the dates of the conference.
  • Accommodation in a single room at a budget hotel for the conference duration.
  • Daily living allowance for each day of the conference.

For Virtual Attendance

  • Online access to all conference sessions, satellite sessions, pre-conferences, and session recordings.
  • Access to e-posters and the virtual Global Village.
