About the Opportunity
The Rock the Vote Internship Spring 2026 is a fully remote and paid internship designed to provide hands-on experience in civic engagement, social justice advocacy, public policy, and communications. Interns will support various departments, contributing to Rock the Vote’s ongoing campaigns, voter registration drives, and educational initiatives.

Internship Focus Areas
Interns may be assigned to one or more of the following key focus areas:
- Research and Public Policy: Support research initiatives and contribute to policy discussions around voting rights and social impact.
- Civic Engagement and Partnerships: Assist with building collaborations with partner organisations and youth networks.
- Social Media, Marketing and Events: Create engaging, youth-focused content and support campaign events.
- Campaigns and Elections: Assist with voter mobilisation efforts and campaign logistics.
- Voting Rights and Advocacy: Contribute to ongoing efforts promoting equitable access to voting for all.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will gain experience across multiple dimensions of Rock the Vote’s mission, including:
- Managing communications with constituency groups about voter registration and election deadlines.
- Creating video and visual content for social media campaigns.
- Drafting statements, press releases, fact sheets, and explainer materials.
- Writing blog posts and social content about current political and civic issues.
- Supporting the civic tech team with research, tool evaluation, and partner engagement.
- Assisting with the expansion of Rock the Vote’s volunteer programme.
- Contributing to asset inventorying and digital content development.
Eligibility Criteria
The ideal candidate for the Rock the Vote Internship Spring 2026 should demonstrate the following qualities and skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
