About the OST Greenification Program

The OST Greenification Program for Startups and SMEs is an initiative by Open Startup International (OST) aimed at enabling organisations to adopt, strengthen, and scale green practices. It offers both financial and technical support, ensuring that participating entities can make meaningful contributions to sustainable development.

The programme caters to two main categories of organisations:

  • Green Entities: Organisations already engaged in environmental initiatives.
  • Non-Green Entities: Organisations launching their first green projects.

Funding Opportunities

For Green Entities

  • Funding Support: Up to 60,000 TND
  • Tracks:
    • Pilot: To test or refine green initiatives.
    • Amplify: For well-established organisations with proven environmental impact.

For Non-Green Entities

  • Funding Support: Up to 30,000 TND
  • Tracks:
    • Launch: To kickstart new sustainability initiatives.
    • Transform: For mature organisations pivoting into the green space.

Co-Financing Requirement

A modest 5% co-funding is required, especially for organisations that are more than three years old.

Eligibility Criteria

The programme is open to:

  • Green Entities that are already integrating environmental practices and looking to scale their impact.
  • Non-Green Entities planning to launch new sustainability initiatives.

Applicants should demonstrate the ability to execute and report on projects effectively, with a proven track record of operations (especially for mature entities).
