In this post, we’ll break down everything you need to know about the EU‑LAC Digital Accelerator 2025 — from funding details and eligibility to application deadlines and support resources.

What Is the EU‑LAC Digital Accelerator 2025?

The EU‑LAC Digital Accelerator 2025 is a cross-regional initiative designed to foster corporate–startup or corporate–SME partnerships between organisations in the European Union (EU), Latin America, and the Caribbean (LAC). Its goal is to boost digital cooperation and solve pressing innovation and tech challenges together.

Over the course of six months, selected partnerships will benefit from tailored acceleration services and financial support—without giving up any equity.

What Support Is Offered?

Acceleration Services

Each selected partnership will receive full access to expert-led services, including:

  • Roadmapping and innovation strategy development
  • Proof-of-Concept (PoC) design and validation
  • Business case and model refinement
  • Investment readiness and growth planning
  • IP support and market entry preparation

These services are coordinated and delivered by reputable institutions such as TECNALIA, IESE Business School, EBN, and EBAN, among others.

Funding Breakdown

While services are fully funded, selected partnerships can also receive up to €10,500 in grant funding:

  • €7,000 for Proof-of-Concept (PoC) development
  • €2,000 travel grant (transport and accommodation)
  • €1,500 for equipment shipping

This grant is in addition to the in-kind acceleration services and does not require any equity exchange.

To apply for the EU‑LAC Digital Accelerator 2025, you must form a partnership that includes:

  • At least one corporate and one startup or SME
  • Partners from at least two different regions (e.g., one from the EU and one from LAC)

Partnerships must propose a solution or innovation to address a clearly defined digital transformation challenge, making this programme ideal for impact-focused collaborations in fintech, health tech, edtech, cleantech, logistics, and beyond.
