    This prestigious programme is designed to identify and support rising media leaders across the continent who are not yet in senior management but have the ambition and potential to step into leadership roles in the near future.


    About the Programme

    The INMA Africa Emerging Leaders Programme 2025 focuses on equipping participants with leadership knowledge, peer networks, and recognition in the news media industry. It provides access to world-class resources and fosters connections among young African media professionals who share a passion for shaping the future of journalism.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To qualify for the INMA Africa Emerging Leaders Programme 2025, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

    • Be employed by a news media organisation in Africa.
    • Be under the age of 35.
    • Hold a position below senior management level.
    • Be based full-time in Africa.
    • Not hold any ownership stake in the media organisation.
    • Have a keen interest in learning about the business of news and a strong commitment to becoming a future leader.
