    FASPE Clergy & Religious Leaders Program 2026

    Are you a faith leader, chaplain, or religious student passionate about ethical leadership? The FASPE Clergy & Religious Leaders Program 2026 is now open for applications. This fully funded fellowship offers a unique two-week experience in Europe, combining academic study, site visits, and critical reflection on professional ethics in religious leadership.


    About the FASPE Clergy & Religious Leaders Program 2026

    The FASPE Clergy & Religious Leaders Program 2026 is an intensive two-week study programme focused on ethics and moral responsibility in religious leadership. Participants will explore:

    • The role of German and international clergy during the Nazi era
    • The ethical challenges faced by religious leaders historically and today
    • Tools for strengthening integrity and ethical decision-making in leadership

    The programme is interdisciplinary and includes seminars, group discussions, and visits to historical sites in Berlin and Poland.


    Eligibility Criteria

    To qualify for the fellowship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

    1. Educational background
      • Currently enrolled in graduate-level religious training (seminary, divinity school, chaplaincy, or related theological/religious programmes), or
      • A practising religious leader who completed a relevant graduate degree in May 2019 or later.
    2. Practical service orientation
      • Applicants should be actively involved in faith leadership roles such as congregational ministry, chaplaincy (hospital, military, university, or prison), or other practical religious service.
    3. Faith tradition
      • Open to individuals from all religious traditions. Ordination is not a requirement.
    4. Career stage
      • Applicants should be at a formative stage of their professional journey, demonstrating strong leadership potential and commitment to self-reflection.
    5. Personal qualities
      • Willingness to engage in challenging intellectual and emotional discussions is essential.
