    Are you a woman leading a tech business in Africa? The Tech FoundHER Africa Challenge 2025 is here to empower women tech founders with funding, mentorship, and access to networks that can take their ventures to the next level. This challenge offers up to US $100,000 in equity-free grants, along with valuable exposure and guidance from seasoned experts.


    About the Tech FoundHER Africa Challenge 2025

    The Tech FoundHER Africa Challenge 2025 is designed to support women who are building impactful technology businesses across Africa. By offering grants, mentorship, and visibility, the programme aims to bridge the gender gap in tech entrepreneurship and foster innovative solutions across multiple sectors.

    This initiative provides not just funding, but also mentorship from experienced operators and connections with potential investors and customers.


    Eligibility Criteria

    Applicants must:

    • Be a woman tech founder or co-founder based in Africa.
    • Have a business operating within one or more of the following sectors:

    1. Financial Services & Business Tools
      • Fintech, Insurtech, Legaltech, Regtech, Martech, Adtech, HR Tech, Future of Work
    2. Health, Life Sciences & Social Impact
      • Healthtech, Medtech, Biotech, Foodtech, CharityTech, Edtech
    3. Climate, Environment & Sustainability
      • Cleantech, Greentech, Agritech, Smart City Tech
    4. Consumer, Lifestyle & Creative Industries
      • ConsumerTech, FashionTech, EntertainmentTech, Gaming/eSports, MediaTech
    5. Infrastructure, Mobility & Industry Solutions
      • IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Govtech, Proptech, Mobility, Logistics & Supply Chain
    6. Emerging Technologies
      • Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and related innovations

    Benefits

    Winners of the Tech FoundHER Africa Challenge 2025 will receive:

    • Equity-free grants of up to US $100,000
    • Mentorship from experienced operators and industry leaders

    Application Deadline

    • 30 September 2025, by midnight CAT

    ⚠️ Important: The application form can be saved and resumed for up to 15 days after starting. However, you must use the same device and browser each time.
