UK PACT Nature-based Solutions in Kenya

    Deadline: September 26, 2025

Are you working on sustainable land use, ecosystem restoration, or climate governance in Kenya? The UK PACT Nature-based Solutions in Kenya programme is now open for applications, offering funding of up to £650,000 to organisations supporting Kenya’s transition to a low-carbon, climate-resilient economy.

This funding opportunity is part of the wider UK-Kenya Strategic Partnership 2025-2030, designed to accelerate green growth, scale clean energy, mobilise climate finance, and strengthen policy frameworks that protect both people and nature.

About the UK PACT Nature-based Solutions in Kenya Programme

The UK PACT Nature-based Solutions in Kenya programme focuses on supporting technical assistance and capacity building projects in the area of climate and nature. Successful projects will help drive systemic change in:

    • Climate policy and governance
    • Sustainable land use and management
    • Ecosystem restoration and protection
    • Integrating nature-based solutions into Kenya’s development priorities

By strengthening local institutions and empowering communities, the programme aims to advance Kenya’s climate transition while promoting inclusive and equitable development.
