    DAV International South China Sea Conference Young Leaders Programme 2025

    Are you a young leader passionate about international relations, maritime security, and regional cooperation? The DAV International South China Sea Conference Young Leaders Programme 2025 is now open for applications. This fully-funded opportunity, hosted by the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV), provides a unique platform for emerging voices in political science, law, and social sciences to actively engage with experts and policymakers on pressing issues related to the South China Sea.


    About the Young Leaders Programme

    The Young Leaders Programme is part of the 17th International South China Sea Conference, one of the most prominent forums in the region that gathers policymakers, scholars, and experts worldwide.

    Selected participants will:

    • Join livestream youth commentaries and podcasts.
    • Participate in the Youth Academic Discussion Night alongside DAV student ambassadors and local university students.
    • Present research under the theme “Youth Power: Overcoming Ambiguity, Strengthening Unity”, with guidance from senior researchers.
    • Take part in exclusive networking opportunities, including a working lunch with experts and an intergenerational dialogue with scholars and policymakers.

    This programme is designed to ensure youth voices are at the forefront of international dialogue.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To apply for the DAV International South China Sea Conference Young Leaders Programme 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • Age: Between 20 and 35 years old at the start of the programme.
    • Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
    • Background: Academic or professional experience in political science, international relations, international law, or related social sciences.
    • Selection: Only 8 Young Leaders will be chosen from all applicants.
