    CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars Program 2026–2028

    • Duration: Two-year term (2026–2028)
    • Financial Support: Up to $100,000 CAD in unrestricted research funding. Funds can be used for research expenses, teaching release, student or postdoctoral support, conference travel, and more.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To apply for the CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars Program 2026–2028, applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • Hold a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree.
    • Be within the first five years of starting a full-time research position at a higher education or research institution.
    • Conduct research aligned with or contributing to the themes and goals of an eligible CIFAR research program.
