    Deadline: September 30, 2025

L’Oréal Groupe has officially launched its Sustainable Innovation Accelerator Programme 2025, a bold initiative designed to catalyse transformative sustainability innovations from across the globe. With €100 million committed over five years, this programme aims to fast-track climate-positive technologies into scalable real-world solutions.

Whether you’re a startup, scale-up, SME or an established company, if you have a ready-to-pilot solution (TRL 7+) that aligns with L’Oréal’s sustainability vision, this is your opportunity to make global impact while accessing mentorship, potential investment, and pilot support.

In this blog, we outline everything you need to know about the L’Oréal Groupe Sustainable Innovation Accelerator Programme 2025, including its focus areas, timelines, eligibility, and how to apply.

About the L’Oréal Groupe Sustainable Innovation Accelerator Programme 2025

The L’Oréal Groupe Sustainable Innovation Accelerator Programme 2025 was launched on 23 June 2025 as part of L’Oréal’s wider L’Oréal for the Future roadmap. It seeks to identify and support innovations that can significantly advance sustainability performance in the beauty and cosmetics industry and beyond.

The programme is powered by a strong partnership with the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), through its Canopy innovation team. This ensures participants gain access to world-class mentorship, pilot opportunities, and a global sustainability network.

    Programme Focus Areas

Applicants are expected to align their solutions with one or more of the following seven thematic areas:

    1. Low‑carbon and climate-smart technologies
    2. Water-resilience solutions

    4. Alternative ingredients and materials
    5. Eliminating fossil‑plastic use and plastic waste
    6. Circularity and resource management
    7. Sustainable and inclusive business models

These categories represent the areas where L’Oréal is actively seeking innovation partners to help meet its ambitious 2030 sustainability goals.
