About the V20 Climate Prosperity Fellowship Program 2025-2026
The V20 Climate Prosperity Fellowship Program 2025-2026 aims to build a new generation of financial leaders from climate-vulnerable economies. Fellows will be trained to develop Climate Prosperity Plans that combine climate resilience and economic transformation, directly addressing the global financial architecture that has historically constrained climate action.
This programme contributes to V20’s broader objectives outlined in the Accra–Marrakech Agenda, including:
- Making debt work for climate
- Reforming the international development finance system
- Creating a new global carbon financing deal
- Improving risk management for vulnerable economies
Fellows will also contribute to national and international dialogues on financing just, inclusive, and green transitions.
Who Should Apply?
The fellowship is targeted at:
- Citizens of V20 member countries working in Ministries of Finance, Economy, or Planning
- Individuals with 5–10 years of professional experience in climate, finance, economic development, public policy, or related fields
- Applicants with excellent English proficiency and strong working knowledge of Excel
- Those available for all virtual sessions and two in-person residencies
- Candidates with a clear commitment to engaging national stakeholders after the fellowship
