    Kluz Prize for PeaceTech 2025

    Deadline: July 20, 2025

Are you leading an innovative tech-driven project that promotes peace, reduces conflict, or protects human rights? The Kluz Prize for PeaceTech 2025 is now accepting applications from individuals and organisations around the world with proven, high-impact PeaceTech solutions. This prestigious award offers US $20,000 to an established project that is already making measurable contributions in conflict-affected or post-conflict communities.

Whether you’re a startup founder, a technologist, or part of a civil society group working in humanitarian contexts, this is your chance to scale your efforts with global recognition and financial backing.

About the Kluz Prize for PeaceTech 2025

The Kluz Prize for PeaceTech 2025 is dedicated to recognising and rewarding the transformative power of technology in peacebuilding. Rather than funding new ideas, the prize targets existing, impactful initiatives that are leveraging innovation to address the causes and consequences of conflict.

Deadline to apply: July 20, 2025 (11:59 PM EDT)

Award: US $20,000 for one selected project

    Focus Areas

The prize supports PeaceTech efforts across three core areas:

    1. Conflict Prevention and Mitigation
Projects that work to reduce violence, prevent escalation, and build bridges across divides.
    2. Limiting Suffering During Conflict
Initiatives that protect civilians, support humanitarian response, and offer practical tools during crises.
    3. Post-Conflict Recovery and Peacebuilding
Solutions that contribute to rebuilding societies and fostering long-term reconciliation.

    Eligibility Criteria

The Kluz Prize is open to a wide range of applicants, including:

    • Non-profit organisations and NGOs
    • For-profit companies and startups
    • Academic institutions and research centres
    • Individual tech entrepreneurs, engineers, and scientists

    To be eligible:

    • Your project must already be operational with demonstrated real-world impact.
    • New proposals or conceptual ideas will not be considered.

    Evaluation and Selection Criteria

Applicants will be assessed based on:

    • Proven Impact: Tangible, documented outcomes from the project’s implementation.
    • Innovation: Originality and technical novelty of the solution.
    • Scalability: Potential for wider adoption or replication.
    • Sustainability: Ability to maintain long-term benefits beyond initial funding.
    • Collaborative Strength: Evidence of partnerships or cross-sector engagement.

    Key Dates and Timeline

    • Application Deadline: July 20, 2025 (11:59 PM EDT)
    • Final Selection: Early September 2025
    • Award Presentation: Around September 19, 2025

    How to Apply

Interested applicants must submit their application online before the deadline. You will need to provide comprehensive information about your project’s goals, technologies, impact metrics, and sustainability plan.
