Spearheaded by the African Development Bank, these programs are designed to uplift innovative fashion and accessories entrepreneurs across the continent through targeted training, mentorship, funding opportunities, and visibility.

About the 2025 Fashionomics Africa Incubator and Accelerator Programs

The 2025 Fashionomics Africa Incubator and Accelerator Programs are split into two tracks tailored to suit entrepreneurs at different stages of their business journey:

    • Incubator Program – Designed for early-stage entrepreneurs with businesses up to three years old. Even if your business is not formally registered, you can apply with a proof of concept.
    • Accelerator Program – Targeted at more established businesses operating for over three years and formally registered. Applicants should demonstrate traction and existing sales or distribution channels.

Each track offers a rich eight-week training experience covering investment readiness, sustainability, branding, digital marketing, and access to networks.

    What You Will Gain

    Selected participants will benefit from:

    • An 8-week virtual training program available in English, French, Arabic, and Portuguese
    • Access to mentorship, expert-led workshops, and business coaching
    • Eligibility to compete for up to US $10,000 in funding
    • Opportunity to be shortlisted for the Fashionomics Africa Pitching Days, where top 12 finalists per track will pitch for two grand prizes of US $20,000 each

    Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for either the Incubator or Accelerator track, you must:

    • Be based in Africa
    • Be at least 18 years old (priority is given to youth aged 18–35 and women-led businesses)
    • Own a fashion or accessories business

    Incubator Track:

    • In business for 0–3 years
    • May be unregistered but must provide a compelling proof of concept

    Accelerator Track:

    • Must be formally registered
    • Must demonstrate strong traction and operational structure

📌 Important Note: You may only apply to one of the two tracks. Duplicate or multiple submissions will be automatically deleted.
