Who Can Apply?
The NARF Projects Grants 2025 is open to a wide range of Canadian organizations, including:
- Registered Canadian charities and nonprofit associations
- Indigenous organizations (First Nations, Inuit, Métis)
- Canadian public institutions (e.g., schools, municipalities, universities)
- Labour organizations
Eligible applicants must be legally registered in Canada and able to implement initiatives within the 2026–2027 project period.
Priority Areas of Focus
Applicants must align their proposals with at least one of the following core objectives:
- Tackling Systemic Racial Barriers: Addressing inequities in healthcare, education, employment, justice, and other systems.
- Advancing Anti-Racism Research and Education: Supporting knowledge development and training to foster racial equity.
- Raising Public Awareness and Influencing Policy: Promoting understanding, social change, and shifts in public policy.
- Fostering Intercultural Community Engagement: Enhancing social cohesion and mutual respect across diverse communities.
Expected project outcomes include:
- Increased public understanding of racism and diversity
- Strengthened community-based responses to racism
- Policy changes and advocacy progress
Reporting and Acknowledgment Requirements
Successful grantees are required to:
- Submit interim and final progress reports using templates provided by CRRF
- Publicly acknowledge CRRF funding in all communication and outreach materials related to the project
