    The UNAOC Youth Solidarity Fund 2025–2026 is now open for applications, inviting youth-led organizations to apply for seed funding of up to $25,000 USD to implement innovative projects that promote intercultural and interfaith dialogue, social cohesion, and peaceful coexistence. This is an exciting opportunity for grassroots initiatives that are led by and for young people to gain both financial and strategic support through the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC).

    As one of UNAOC’s flagship programs, the Youth Solidarity Fund has supported over 80 projects across 43+ countries since its inception in 2008, making a tangible impact on communities through local solutions created by young change-makers.


    About the UNAOC Youth Solidarity Fund 2025–2026

    The UNAOC Youth Solidarity Fund 2025–2026 supports youth-led nonprofit organizations working on impactful and sustainable peacebuilding initiatives in culturally and religiously diverse contexts. Projects funded under this round must address the core UNAOC objectives: intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, prevention of violence, and fostering mutual understanding between communities.

    Successful applicants will receive:

    • A grant of up to $25,000 USD
    • Capacity-building and training support
    • Strategic mentorship and exposure through UNAOC’s global network

    Who Can Apply?

    To qualify for the Youth Solidarity Fund 2025–2026, organizations must meet the following eligibility criteria:

    • Be youth-led: Majority of leadership (decision-makers) must be aged between 18–35 years.
    • Be non-profit, non-governmental, and officially registered for at least two years.
    • Be based in a country listed on the OECD’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) recipient list.
    • Be working on projects that promote intercultural or interfaith dialogue, peacebuilding, counter-extremism, or social inclusion.

    Youth councils, associations, or foundations that meet the above criteria are also eligible.

    • Application Deadline: 15 August 2025, 11:59 PM EST (New York time)
    • Notification Period: January to March 2026 (expected)
    • Implementation Period: Mid-2026 for selected projects
