    Deadline: August 1, 2025

The Onuoha Fellowship 2025 is now accepting applications from aspiring student entrepreneurs! Designed by Angel Onuoha, a Harvard graduate and successful founder, this prestigious program equips selected U.S.-based college freshmen and sophomores with the tools, funding, and mentorship needed to launch real-world, AI-driven startups—starting from zero.

If you’re a builder at heart and ready to take your first big step into entrepreneurship, the Onuoha Fellowship 2025 offers a powerful platform to kickstart your journey.

    About the Onuoha Fellowship

Founded in 2020 by Angel Onuoha (CEO of Avelis), the Onuoha Fellowship responds to a growing need for hands-on, entrepreneurial learning. While traditional education often emphasizes theory, this program focuses on practical, AI-enhanced startup development. Fellows will learn how to build scalable products, secure funding, acquire customers, and leverage cutting-edge tools like Cursor, Replit, and Lovable.

Through mentorship, peer networking, and skill-building workshops, selected fellows will emerge ready to bring their startup ideas to life—some even before they graduate college.

    What Fellows Receive

    • 💰 $1,000 grant each for 10 selected fellows
    • 🧠 Expert mentorship in:
      • Fundraising & investor relations
      • Product design using AI tools
      • Customer acquisition strategies
    • 🌐 Alumni network access — past fellows have gone on to work at Y Combinator, Google, Microsoft, Uber, Amazon, and elite universities like Harvard, MIT, and Stanford.

    Expert Opinion from Grant Database

According to the GrantsDatabase.org advisory team:

“The most successful Onuoha Fellowship applications we’ve reviewed had one thing in common: clarity of vision and demonstrated initiative. Applicants should emphasize what they’ve already built—whether a high school project, a side hustle, or a community solution. Make it real. Don’t just talk about ideas—show proof of action, passion, and follow-through.”
