The Ed Bradley Journalism Fellowship – Summer 2026 is an exceptional opportunity for aspiring journalists to gain world-class training and exposure at one of the most prestigious journalism institutions in the United States. Carter Journalism Institute in partnership with the Dow Jones News Fund, this fully funded, week-long programme takes place at New York University from 8th to 14th June 2026.
About the Ed Bradley Journalism Fellowship – Summer 2026
The Ed Bradley Journalism Fellowship – Summer 2026 aims to address the persistent underrepresentation of African-American males in newsrooms while welcoming applicants of all backgrounds who are committed to supporting this mission. The programme seeks to nurture talented, motivated college students by providing them with an immersive experience in the art and practice of journalism.
A total of 20 students will be selected to participate in this rigorous and enriching training. Throughout the week, participants will engage in intensive sessions designed to enhance their journalistic skills, expand their professional networks, and prepare them for impactful careers in media and communications.
