The TIPA camerAmore Contest 2026 is an international photography competition organised by the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA). The contest celebrates the special bond photographers have with their photographic equipment — whether it’s a new camera, a cherished vintage model, or a well-used tool of the trade. This exciting opportunity is open to photographers across the world and comes with a total cash prize of €3,000.

The TIPA camerAmore Contest 2026 invites photographers of all levels to creatively express their relationship with their cameras. The competition highlights how every camera — regardless of its brand, age, or price — can tell a unique story. Entrants are encouraged to capture the emotion, creativity, and connection they share with their gear.
Winning entries will be featured in TIPA member magazines and on the TIPA official website, offering global exposure to photographers and their creative work.
Prize Details
A total of €3,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the top entries across categories:
- Overall Winner: €1,500
- Each Category Winner: €500
In addition to the cash prizes, winners will gain international visibility through publication in TIPA-affiliated magazines and platforms, reaching a wide network of photography enthusiasts and professionals.
Contest Categories
Participants can submit entries in one, two, or all three of the following categories:
- My Camera and I – Portraits that show the photographer together with their camera, reflecting the bond between artist and tool.
- Camera in Action – Images that depict cameras being used in real-life situations, whether in the studio, outdoors, or behind the scenes.
- What’s in My Camera Bag – Creative photographs that visually tell the story of your personal gear and shooting essentials.
Eligibility and Entry Rules
- The contest is free to enter and open to photographers worldwide.
- Entrants must be the sole owners of the rights to their submitted images.
- By participating, photographers grant TIPA and its member publications the right to use the submitted images for promotional purposes and contest-related publication.
Submission Deadline
All entries must be submitted by 28 February 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
