    Positive Action Funding Opportunities

    Deadline: February 17, 2026

Positive Action Funding Opportunities is a global grant initiative by ViiV Healthcare designed to support community-led and community-based organisations working to eliminate HIV and improve the lives of people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Through this programme, ViiV Healthcare provides funding for evidence-informed interventions that address urgent gaps in HIV prevention, testing, treatment, care, and support, with a strong emphasis on equity, localisation, and community leadership.

This post provides full details of the current funding round under Positive Action Funding Opportunities.

    About the Positive Action Programme

Positive Action is ViiV Healthcare’s long-standing global commitment to strengthening community responses to HIV.

    The programme supports organisations that:

    • Are deeply connected with communities most affected by HIV
    • Deliver evidence-informed and impactful interventions
    • Work towards reducing stigma and improving access to care
    • Promote community voices and local leadership in HIV responses

The initiative prioritises sustainable, community-driven solutions that can make a measurable difference in HIV outcomes.

    Current Funding Round (2026)

The latest call for proposals under Positive Action Funding Opportunities focuses on scaling up interventions that are already proven to work.

    Community and Scale-Up Grants

    • Larger multi-year funding for proven interventions
    • Up to approximately £300,000 over three years

The overall aim is to strengthen community systems, improve linkage to care, reduce stigma, and amplify community-led HIV responses globally.

    Final Notes

Positive Action Funding Opportunities represents an important chance for eligible organisations to secure long-term support for impactful HIV programmes in priority countries.

If your organisation has an evidence-based intervention ready for scale-up, this funding round could provide vital resources to expand your reach and improve outcomes for communities affected by HIV.
