WFF Youth Assembly Partner Organizations Programme 2026

    Deadline: January 15, 2026

The World Food Forum (WFF) Youth Assembly Partner Organizations Programme 2026 invites organizations from around the globe to collaborate in shaping inclusive and action-driven discussions for the transformation of agrifood systems. This programme provides a unique opportunity for organizations working on sustainability, climate action, nutrition, biodiversity, and youth empowerment to take an active role in influencing global policy dialogues.

The WFF Youth Assembly Partner Organizations Programme 2026 aims to engage youth-focused organizations and networks to co-design meaningful dialogues that reflect young people’s perspectives and priorities in global food systems transformation.

    About the WFF Youth Assembly

The World Food Forum Youth Assembly serves as a global platform that brings together youth and youth-focused entities to co-create ideas and policy recommendations aimed at building more sustainable agrifood systems. It is an initiative of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, designed to amplify youth voices and promote intergenerational collaboration for a better food future.

The Youth Assembly operates as a participatory forum for youth organizations to lead consultations, design thematic sessions, and contribute directly to WFF policy outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities of Partner Organizations

Organizations selected as Youth Assembly Partners will play a strategic role in co-creating, leading, and implementing Youth Assembly activities. They will contribute to all aspects of thematic and organizational planning, including:

    • Planning and executing thematic sessions during the Youth Assembly.
    • Providing expert input and resources on relevant agrifood system topics.
    • Designing youth-centered consultations and engagement sessions.
    • Identifying and nominating speakers and moderators for events.
    • Supporting outreach, visibility, and communication efforts to expand youth participation.
    • Contributing to youth-led policy recommendations and follow-up actions that inform decision-making processes at the global level.

Through these activities, partner organizations help integrate youth perspectives into the broader dialogue on sustainable food systems.

    Eligibility Criteria

The WFF Youth Assembly Partner Organizations Programme 2026 is open to organizations that demonstrate leadership and expertise in areas related to agrifood systems, sustainability, and youth development. Eligible organizations must:

    • Operate at a regional or global level with relevant expertise on food systems, climate change, biodiversity, or youth engagement.
    • Have a proven track record in sustainable development, agriculture, nutrition, or related fields.
    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to meaningful youth engagement and empowerment.
    • Assign a dedicated team and focal point for coordination with the WFF Youth Assembly Secretariat and Youth Policy Board.
    • Align with the WFF Youth Assembly’s core values — integrity, collaboration, inclusiveness, and responsibility.

    What Partner Organizations Contribute

Selected organizations will work closely with the WFF Youth Assembly Secretariat to develop impactful and inclusive programmes. Key contributions include:

    • Crafting session plans, agendas, and consultation frameworks.
    • Identifying relevant speakers, facilitators, and youth representatives.
    • Designing strategies for youth engagement and participation.
    • Helping to compile youth-led recommendations and summary reports that influence national and international policy dialogues.

Participation offers organizations visibility and influence in shaping the global youth agenda for food systems transformation.

    How to Apply

Interested organizations must submit their applications by January 15, 2026 through the official online portal. Applications should highlight the organization’s mission, thematic expertise, and proposed contributions to the WFF Youth Assembly.

    Why This Opportunity Matters

Becoming a WFF Youth Assembly Partner Organization allows entities to play a strategic role in shaping global agrifood systems while ensuring youth voices are heard at the highest levels. This partnership supports collaboration between youth networks and international institutions to advance sustainable, inclusive, and resilient food systems for the future.

By joining, organizations will not only amplify the impact of youth advocacy but also help drive meaningful global change in food security, climate resilience, and biodiversity conservation.
