The Children’s Commissioner Ambassador Programme 2026 is a unique youth leadership and advocacy opportunity for young people in England who are passionate about children’s rights, wellbeing, and influencing public policy. This year-long voluntary programme enables selected young ambassadors to represent the voices of children and young people at the highest levels of decision-making.

The Children’s Commissioner Ambassador Programme 2026 is delivered by the Office of the Children’s Commissioner for England and offers participants a platform to engage directly with policymakers, government officials, and the media.

    About the Programme

The Children’s Commissioner Ambassador Programme is a voluntary ambassador initiative designed to ensure that children and young people’s views are heard, valued, and acted upon in national conversations that affect their lives.

Ambassadors work closely with the Children’s Commissioner for England and her team to amplify the voices of young people across the country, particularly those whose experiences are often under-represented. The programme aligns with the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, reinforcing the right of children to participate in decisions that impact them.
