The programme equips founders building solutions for climate adaptation and resilience with the resources, mentorship, and global exposure needed to scale their ventures.

    The Halcyon Global Climate Fellowship 2026 combines virtual learning with in-person residencies in the United States, offering selected fellows a unique opportunity to refine their ventures, connect with investors, and join a global community of climate innovators.


    Programme Overview

    The Halcyon Global Climate Fellowship is a structured, founder-centric programme that supports early-stage climate ventures addressing some of the world’s most urgent environmental challenges.

    The fellowship includes:

    • A virtual programme kick-off
    • Two in-person residencies in the United States:
      • Washington, DC
      • Los Angeles, California
    • A series of virtual learning days with climate experts, investors, and industry leaders

    The programme is delivered in English and requires full participation across both virtual and in-person components.


    Focus Areas

    The fellowship supports innovative solutions across key climate and resilience sectors, including:

    • Renewable and resilient energy systems
    • Adaptive infrastructure and green building technologies
    • Climate intelligence, data, and early-warning systems
    • Climate-smart agriculture and food systems
    • Water technology and water security
    • Blue economy and coastal resilience
    • Financial tools that enhance resilience to climate shocks, including climate insurance and risk financing

    Fellowship Benefits

    Selected fellows receive a comprehensive package of financial, technical, and strategic support, including:

    • US$6,000 equity-free stipend per venture
    • US$10,000 in Amazon Web Services (AWS) credits
    • Expert-led workshops covering:
      • Product–market fit
      • Capital and fundraising strategy
      • Leadership and founder development
    • Access to professional advisors and subject-matter experts
    • Curated networking opportunities with investors, policymakers, and climate ecosystem stakeholders
    • Lifetime membership in Halcyon’s global founder community of over 600 entrepreneurs

    Eligibility Criteria

    Applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • Open globally to entrepreneurs from any country
    • Business stage: The venture must have a working minimum viable product (MVP) and early validation, such as a pilot, letter of intent (LOI), early revenue, or comparable traction
    • Founder role: The applicant must be the CEO or primary decision-maker of the venture
    • Team composition: Applications may include the founder and one co-founder
    • Language: Fluency in English is required
    • Age requirement: Applicants must be at least 21 years old at the start of the programme
    • Commitment: Ability to fully participate in both virtual sessions and in-person residencies
    • Impact alignment: The venture must align with one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

    Application Timeline

    The key dates for the Halcyon Global Climate Fellowship 2026 are as follows:

    • 8 December 2025 – Applications open
    • 15 January 2026 – Eligibility application deadline
    • Mid-January 2026 – Invitational applications issued to shortlisted candidates
    • 23 January 2026 – Invitational application deadline
    • Late February to September 2026 – Fellowship programme period, including virtual programming and in-person residencies in Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA
