    The Amnesty International Youth Delegate for the Global Assembly 2026–2027 is designed to empower young leaders to actively participate in shaping Amnesty International’s policies and priorities. The Global Assembly is Amnesty International’s highest decision-making forum, where key discussions and resolutions shaping the organization’s global direction take place.

    The Youth Delegate serves as a vital bridge between Amnesty International’s leadership and young members, ensuring that youth perspectives, ideas, and concerns are heard and integrated into global strategies. This initiative underscores Amnesty International’s commitment to youth participation in governance, inclusivity, and transformative human-rights advocacy.


    Role and Responsibilities

    The selected Youth Delegate will:

    • Represent young people at the Global Assembly 2026–2027.
    • Engage in strategic dialogues that influence global human-rights priorities.
    • Collaborate with other youth leaders and national sections of Amnesty International.
    • Contribute to the organization’s governance processes, ensuring the youth perspective informs key decisions.
    • Strengthen youth engagement and leadership across Amnesty International’s network.

    This position is not merely symbolic; it is a platform for meaningful participation and influence. The delegate will play a critical role in ensuring that youth voices contribute to shaping global human-rights policy.
