Eligibility Criteria
Master’s Applicants
- Must be a national of an African Development Bank Regional Member Country (RMC).
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or any field with strong interest in fisheries and blue economy.
- English proficiency: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80.
- Maximum age: 35 years at the time of application.
- Strong academic record (GPA ≥ 3.0 or equivalent).
PhD Applicants
- Must be an AfDB RMC national with relevant background or experience in fisheries or blue economy.
- Hold a Master’s degree in marine science, aquaculture, environmental policy, economics, development studies, or related fields.
- English proficiency: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80.
- Demonstrated research experience, ideally with at least one published paper.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in multicultural environments.
