- Be eligible to obtain a Taiwanese Resident Visa (FS) and later an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC).
- Not be recipients of any other Taiwan government-sponsored scholarship during the same academic year.
- For applicants who previously studied under TaiwanICDF or other Taiwan Government scholarships, graduation must have been completed before 31 July 2025 to be considered for the 2026 cycle.
- Provide the highest academic diploma by 31 July 2026; otherwise, admission may be deferred to the next application cycle.
