    The Canada Life Lime Connect DevOps Technology Internship and Scholarship Award 2026 offers an incredible opportunity for talented students who are passionate about technology, leadership, and innovation. This unique program combines a paid summer internship with a scholarship award of CAD $5,000 for the 2026–2027 academic year.

    Hosted by Canada Life in collaboration with Lime Connect, the program is designed to empower and support students with visible and invisible disabilities, helping them develop real-world skills while rebranding disability through achievement.

    Interns will gain hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure, contribute to meaningful projects, and collaborate with professionals in a supportive environment. The internship will take place during the summer of 2026 at one of Canada Life’s offices located in Winnipeg (MB), Toronto (ON), or London (ON).


    Programme Overview

    The internship is part of Canada Life’s commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. Participants will work in a hybrid environment—spending three days per week in the office—while engaging in professional development, mentorship, and team-building activities.

    Successful applicants will also receive a CAD $5,000 scholarship award for the 2026–2027 academic year, recognizing their achievements and potential in the field of technology.


    Eligibility Criteria

    Applicants for the Canada Life Lime Connect DevOps Technology Internship and Scholarship Award 2026 must meet the following requirements:

    • Be currently enrolled in a Canadian university or college as an undergraduate student.
    • Plan to continue enrollment in a Canadian university or college for the 2026–2027 academic year.
    • Be pursuing a degree or certification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technology program.
    • Be available to work in Winnipeg, Toronto, or London during the summer of 2026.
    • Maintain strong academic performance and a demonstrated interest in technology.
    • Identify as a person with a visible or invisible disability (including long-term or recurring issues that impact one or more major activities).
    • Exhibit leadership qualities, whether formal or informal, and show a strong passion for technology and innovation.
    • Note: This opportunity is not open to current high school students.

    Application Components

    Applicants are required to provide the following materials to be considered for the award:

    1. Application Form – Available through the Lime Community Platform (Canada).
    2. Resume and Unofficial Transcripts – Detailing educational background and relevant experiences.
    3. Essay (1–2 pages) answering the following questions:
      • What does “Rebranding Disability through achievement” mean to you?
      • Describe the impact your disability has had on your life.
      • Why are you interested in this internship and scholarship?
      • What is your preferred location (Winnipeg, London, or Toronto)?
      • What excites you about DevOps?
    4. Letter of Recommendation – From a professor, academic adviser, or supervisor (due January 13, 2026).
