About the Opportunity
This fully online initiative runs for 10 months from February to December, delivered primarily via Zoom. Participants engage in monthly sessions led by experienced advocates, policy experts, and youth leaders. The programme offers a flexible 2–5-hour monthly commitment, making it accessible for young people balancing school, work, or other responsibilities. It brings together a diverse group of youth from various backgrounds, fostering collaboration, shared learning, and inclusive dialogue.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Aged 13–24
- Living in Canada
- Demonstrated interest in advocacy, activism, government engagement, or social change
- Willingness to participate actively in online sessions and group activities

- Mapping influence and identifying key decision-makers
- Understanding legislative processes such as the House of Commons and Senate
- Engagement strategies for talking to government officials, raising awareness, and building public support
- Additional participant-led topics based on interests and emerging priorities
Time Commitment
Participants should expect to commit approximately 2–5 hours monthly, which includes virtual sessions, group work, and personal advocacy project development.
