About the Tech for Change Award 2026
The Tech for Change Award 2026 aims to identify and celebrate startups that integrate technology with purpose to drive sustainable and meaningful change. Startups selected for the programme will be recognised during VivaTech 2026, a major global gathering of technology leaders, innovators, investors, and policymakers.
The event will take place in Paris, France, bringing together thousands of participants from across the global tech ecosystem.
Finalists will have the opportunity to present their solutions to an international audience, increasing their visibility and unlocking opportunities for partnerships and investment.

- The Grand Winner will be announced on 18 June 2026 during the Global Innovation Awards Ceremony.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Tech for Change Award 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The startup must be exhibiting at VivaTech 2026.
- The company must have fewer than 200 employees.
- The startup must have been created less than eight years ago.
- The solution must be technology-driven with measurable impact.
- The startup must demonstrate impact in at least one of the following areas:
- Environment
- Society
- Health
- Applications must be submitted in English.
- Only one application per startup is allowed.
Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
1. Positive Impact
The startup must demonstrate clear, measurable benefits to society, health, or the environment.
2. Technology
The product or business model must be strongly rooted in technology.
3. Innovation
The solution should present an original and forward-thinking approach to solving real-world challenges.
