About the Public Interest Fellowship Program 2026

Programme Structure
Fellows will engage in a rich combination of professional experience and intellectual growth over the two-year period, including:
- Professional Rotations: Fellows complete two full-time professional placements at host organisations aligned with their career interests.
- Evening Seminars and Retreats: Twice-monthly seminars and academic retreats provide opportunities to engage with ideas central to liberal democracy, constitutional principles, and public policy.

Fellowship Options
The Public Interest Fellowship offers two participation tracks designed to suit varying career stages:
1. Full-Time Fellowship
This track provides paid, full-time employment for approximately two years. Fellows complete two professional rotations with host organisations that match their professional aspirations.
2. Stipend Track
Designed for professionals already employed in Washington, D.C. or New York City, this option provides an annual stipend while fellows participate in the seminars, retreats, and other programme activities.
