    Public Interest Fellowship Program 2026

    Deadline: May 18, 2026

Are you a recent graduate or young professional passionate about advancing the principles of constitutional government and public service? The Public Interest Fellowship Program 2026 is now open for applications, offering an exceptional opportunity to develop your career through hands-on experience, mentorship, and academic enrichment in Washington, D.C. and New York City.

About the Public Interest Fellowship Program 2026

The Public Interest Fellowship Program 2026 is a two-year professional fellowship designed to prepare outstanding early-career professionals for impactful work in the public interest sector. The fellowship offers participants the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to organisations dedicated to promoting liberty, constitutionalism, and the rule of law.

Fellows gain valuable experience through professional placements, academic seminars, and mentorship sessions led by leaders in public policy, governance, and civic education. The programme is ideal for those interested in contributing to a free and just society while building a career rooted in public service.

    Programme Structure

Fellows will engage in a rich combination of professional experience and intellectual growth over the two-year period, including:

    • Professional Rotations: Fellows complete two full-time professional placements at host organisations aligned with their career interests.
    • Evening Seminars and Retreats: Twice-monthly seminars and academic retreats provide opportunities to engage with ideas central to liberal democracy, constitutional principles, and public policy.
    • Networking and Mentorship: Monthly dinners and lectures with prominent figures from government, academia, and journalism offer networking and career development opportunities.
    • Policy Lectures: Regular discussions on contemporary domestic and national security issues expand participants’ policy understanding.

    Fellowship Options

The Public Interest Fellowship offers two participation tracks designed to suit varying career stages:

    1. Full-Time Fellowship

    Participants receive:

    • A competitive salary or annual stipend (depending on the chosen track)
    • Professional mentorship and guided career development
    • Access to exclusive lectures and retreats
