Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity Programme 2027

    Deadline: March 18, 2026

The Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity Programme 2027 is a fully funded global fellowship dedicated to nurturing leaders who are passionate about advancing health equity and addressing health disparities across the world. This prestigious opportunity brings together professionals from multiple sectors to create meaningful, lasting change in their communities and beyond.

About the Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity Programme 2027

The Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity Programme 2027 is designed to connect early to mid-career professionals from diverse disciplines — including health, law, business, journalism, academia, and social enterprise — who share a commitment to reducing health inequities.

Each year, the programme selects 15 to 20 outstanding fellows to form a dynamic global cohort. Participants will gain valuable knowledge, leadership experience, and a powerful international network that equips them to influence health and well-being in their local and global contexts.

    Programme Benefits

The fellowship is fully funded, covering all educational experiences and travel expenses associated with participation. Fellows will have access to:

    • Expert-led training and mentorship opportunities.
    • Global networking and collaboration with leaders in health equity.
    • Lifelong inclusion in the Atlantic Fellows community, a network of changemakers working to promote fairness and health justice worldwide.

    Who Should Apply

    The programme welcomes applicants who:

    • Are early to mid-career professionals working in any field that impacts health and well-being.
    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing health equity.
    • Show leadership potential and readiness to collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds.
    • Are proficient in English, with the ability to engage in both online and in-person learning sessions.

Applicants may come from various sectors such as healthcare, education, policy, research, technology, or social innovation — as long as their work contributes to addressing health inequities.

    Programme Expectations

Selected fellows will engage in a combination of online and in-person learning throughout the year.

    • In-person convenings: Fellows are expected to attend sessions totalling around four weeks annually.
    • Online learning: The curriculum involves biweekly classes, coaching, mentoring, and team learning, averaging 12–16 hours per month.

This blended learning model ensures that fellows can continue their professional work while participating in the programme.

    Application Process

Applicants are required to complete a comprehensive application that includes:

    • Personal background and professional details.
    • Written responses highlighting leadership experience, motivation, and a proposed equity-focused project.
    • Video-based responses to select questions.
    • Submission of an employer support form and two letters of recommendation.
    • A CV or résumé detailing relevant experience.

    Key Dates

    • Application Deadline: 18 March 2026
Applicants are encouraged to apply early to ensure ample time for preparing all supporting materials.

    Why You Should Apply

Becoming an Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity offers more than professional development — it’s a transformative journey that empowers participants to become catalysts for equitable health systems worldwide. Fellows join a global community of leaders committed to social justice, collaboration, and long-term change in public health and related sectors.
