    Call for Applications: Hub71 Cohort 19 – Abu Dhabi’s Global Tech Ecosystem for African Startups (Up to $68,000 in Cash Support) is now open for ambitious African founders looking to scale globally through one of the Middle East’s most influential startup ecosystems.

    Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s flagship global tech ecosystem, is inviting applications for Cohort 19, offering funding, in-kind support, market access, and deep connections to investors and corporate partners.


    About Hub71

    Hub71 is a global technology ecosystem based in Abu Dhabi, backed by the Government of Abu Dhabi and Mubadala Investment Company. The programme is designed to help startups grow and scale by providing access to capital, mentorship, infrastructure, and international markets.

    Through its structured cohorts, Hub71 supports high-growth startups by embedding them into a strong innovation environment that includes investors, corporates, regulators, and government stakeholders.


    Hub71 Cohort 19: What This Opportunity Offers

    Startups selected for Hub71 Cohort 19 will receive a combination of financial support, in-kind benefits, and ecosystem access tailored to accelerate growth and international expansion.

    Financial Support

    Selected startups can access:

    • Up to $68,000 in cash support provided through a SAFE note (Simple Agreement for Future Equity)
    • Up to $68,000 in in-kind support, which may include cloud credits, legal services, operational tools, and other business-critical resources

    In addition, top-performing startups in the cohort may qualify for an additional investment of up to $200,000 through the Bright Programme.

    • Access to 150+ investors, corporates, and government partners
    • Tailored founder-focused programming and mentorship

    Who Can Apply?

    Hub71 Cohort 19 is open to startups that meet the following criteria:

    • Seed to Series A stage startups
    • Founder-led teams with a clear growth strategy
    • Startups with products or services capable of scaling globally
    • African startups applying through GFA Technologies (formerly GetFundedAfrica), the official African ecosystem partner for this call

    The programme is particularly suited to founders who are ready to expand beyond their home markets and leverage Abu Dhabi as a global launchpad.
