The Civic Innovation Fund (CIF) 2026: Financial and Economic Literacy Call is now open for applications. This exciting opportunity invites innovative organizations and civic actors to submit project proposals that strengthen financial and economic literacy as vital civic competences across Europe.

The initiative is launched by THE CIVICS Innovation Hub, a platform dedicated to promoting civic education, democratic engagement, and inclusive participation. Through this call, the Hub aims to empower individuals and communities to better understand economic systems, make informed financial choices, and actively engage in democratic life.

About the Civic Innovation Fund (CIF) 2026: Financial and Economic Literacy Call

The Civic Innovation Fund (CIF) 2026 supports projects that creatively connect financial literacy, economic understanding, and civic participation. By integrating these dimensions, the Fund seeks to foster more resilient, informed, and inclusive societies.

    • Proposals should emphasize diversity, inclusiveness, and interdisciplinary approaches.
    • Lead organizations must be legally registered in a European country.
    • Priority will be given to youth-led organizations, early-stage civic education startups, and projects with strong potential for long-term impact.

    Timeline and Deadline
