- Minimum commitment: 10 hours per week

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the World Bank Group ICSID Internships 2026, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be currently enrolled in a graduate programme, such as:
- LLM
- PhD
- Third-year law degree (3L) or equivalent
- Provide written confirmation from their university showing one of the following:
- Academic credit will be awarded for the internship, or
- A university-sponsored stipend will be provided
- Be legally authorised to work in the United States, including:
- U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders), or
- Students eligible for an F-1 or G-4 visa
- Meet any additional internship requirements set by their academic institution
- Demonstrate a strong interest and foundational knowledge in:
- Investor-State dispute settlement
- International investment law
- Possess excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Be fluent in English (knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage)
Key Responsibilities
Interns at ICSID may be involved in a variety of professional activities, including:
- Supporting case management teams
- Conducting legal and policy research
- Assisting with drafting and documentation
- Contributing to institutional and administrative projects
- Supporting work related to international arbitration proceedings
Financial and Practical Considerations
- Interns are responsible for:
