Applicants are required to situate their research within at least one of MECAM’s five Interdisciplinary Research Fields (IRFs):

- Identities and Beliefs
Interdisciplinary and transregional perspectives are strongly encouraged.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a PhD degree (postdoctoral researchers or advanced researchers only)
- Be working within the humanities or social sciences
- Demonstrate strong interest in interdisciplinary and transregional research
- Be able to engage academically in English and/or French
- Be available for full-time residential participation in Tunis
Not Eligible:
- Doctoral candidates or PhD students who have not yet completed their doctorate
