Fellowship Objectives
The Riegelman GNAPH Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to:
- Contribute to GNAPH’s global strategy by helping develop and maintain its plan of action.
- Support the COPE Program and assist in building GNAPH’s Young Professionals Network.
- Collaborate with the GNAPH Secretariat to support strategic operations and communication.
- Identify funding sources and assist with developing sustainability strategies for GNAPH projects.
- Coordinate among GNAPH member associations and help implement board-approved priorities and activities.
Through these activities, fellows gain insight into international collaboration, project coordination, and public health leadership — all while working with global academic public health experts.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify for the Riegelman GNAPH Fellowship:
- Education: Must be a recent graduate (within the last five years) of a Master’s-level or higher public health program from a GNAPH member institution.
- Experience: Early-career public health professional with a keen interest in academic public health and global engagement.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, project management, organizational, and coordination skills.
- Attributes: Proactive, organized, diplomatic, and capable of synthesizing complex information into actionable insights.
- Technical Competence: Comfortable working remotely across time zones using online collaboration and communication tools.
