Deadline: January 19, 2026
The International Organization for Migration (IOM), a United Nations agency, has opened a Call for Applications under its flagship initiative focused on Accelerating Youth-Led Action in Addressing Climate Mobility in Africa.
This funding opportunity is designed to empower youth-led civil society organisations (CSOs) across Africa to develop and implement innovative, community-based solutions addressing the growing challenges of climate change, migration, displacement, and human mobility.
About the IOM Youth-Led Climate Mobility Grant
Climate change is increasingly shaping migration patterns across Africa, forcing communities to adapt to environmental stressors such as flooding, drought, desertification, and resource scarcity. Through this grant, IOM aims to strengthen youth leadership, local innovation, and community resilience by supporting projects that directly respond to climate-related mobility challenges.
The programme recognises young people as key drivers of change and seeks to support their efforts in developing practical, inclusive, and scalable solutions.
