About the BASE Fellowship Spring 2026
The Black in AI Safety & Ethics (BASE) Fellowship is a 12-week, part-time research fellowship focused on building capacity and leadership among Black professionals in emerging and high-impact areas of artificial intelligence.
The fellowship is intentionally designed to:
- Increase representation in AI safety, security, and governance
- Provide rigorous training and mentorship
- Support fellows to contribute meaningfully to research and policy conversations in AI
