    “The Role of AI and Machine Learning in Birth Injuries and Medical Malpractice.”

    Participants are expected to explore the following dimensions within their essays:

    • How artificial intelligence and machine learning are reshaping the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
    • The benefits and challenges associated with using AI in preventing and diagnosing birth injuries.
    • The ethical and legal implications when AI tools influence medical decision-making and outcomes.
    • How liability and malpractice laws apply when technology becomes an active participant in clinical care.

    Essays should reflect originality, depth of research, and a clear understanding of both the medical and legal contexts surrounding the issue.

    Submission Guidelines

    All essays must adhere to the following requirements:

    • Word Limit: 1,500 words maximum.
    • Format: PDF file.
    • Content Details: Include your full name, mailing address, phone number, current college or university, and major at the top of the essay.
    • Submission Email: Send your essay to pamedmalscholarship@gmail.com.
    • Plagiarism Policy: All submissions will be reviewed for originality. Essays containing plagiarized or AI-generated content will be disqualified.
    • References: Participants are encouraged to cite relevant case law, statutes, and credible online sources where appropriate.

    Essays will be judged on the basis of creativity, clarity, structure, research quality, and relevance to the theme.

    Evaluation and Winner Selection

    A panel of legal experts and academic reviewers will assess all entries. The winner will be notified via email and announced publicly on the firm’s official website by January 31, 2026. The winning essay may also be published online to inspire future participants and contribute to ongoing discussions about medical malpractice law and technology.
