About the Asia House Fellowship 2026-2027
The Asia House Fellowship 2026-2027 is a research-focused programme that enables fellows to produce independent, in-depth analysis on major geopolitical, economic, and technological developments affecting Asia and the Middle East.
Fellows work remotely while engaging closely with Asia House through mentorship, editorial guidance, and strategic exposure. The programme is structured to ensure research outputs are accessible, policy-relevant, and impactful.
Fellowship Duration

Research Focus Areas
Applicants must propose a research project aligned with one or more of the following thematic areas:

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Asia House Fellowship 2026-2027, applicants must:
- Have completed a Master’s degree and/or PhD by October 2026
- Be at an early stage of their career
- Demonstrate strong interest and knowledge of political, economic, or commercial issues affecting Asia and/or the Middle East
- Be fluent in written and spoken English
- Show evidence of being self-motivated, capable of independent research, and able to manage long-term projects
- Possess clear leadership potential
