This prestigious international award recognises powerful, original ideas that offer practical solutions to some of the world’s most pressing global challenges. With a strong focus on impact rather than reputation, the award celebrates ideas that can meaningfully improve peace, justice, cooperation and global governance.

The Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order 2027 is administered by the University of Louisville in the United States and is one of the most respected global awards for thought leadership on world affairs.

About the Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order 2027

    • The award is open to nominees from any country.
    • Ideas may be presented in books, articles, speeches or other substantive formats.

    • English translations for any non-English materials

Incomplete or late submissions will not be reviewed.

    Selection Criteria

The judging panel evaluates submissions based on:

    1. Originality – The idea must present fresh and innovative thinking
    2. Feasibility – The idea should be practical and capable of real-world application
    3. Potential Impact – The likelihood that the idea can contribute to improving world order

An individual’s reputation, career history or prior awards do not influence the final decision.
